2022 Tour Championship leaderboard: Live updates, golf coverage, FedEx Cup Playoffs scores on Sunday

The richest payout in PGA Tour history has arrived. With $58 million to split 30 ways, 29 golfers (not including the injured Will Zalatoris) will battle for the $18 million first prize at East Lake over the final 18 holes of the 2022 Tour Championship. Second place ($6.5 million) and third ($5 million) aren’t too bad either, but the top of the leaderboard is looking at just one spot.

The big question Sunday is whether Scottie Scheffler, who entered East Lake with a two-shot lead and saw it sit at five only to lead by one late in the game Saturday, can hold on to his advantage now that the third round is over. . Scheffler (-23) birdied four of his last six holes in the third round Sunday morning to push his lead to six over the entire field. Behind him, Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy (-17) are tied for second entering the final round. McIlroy birdied three of his final six holes in the third round to shoot a 63, one shot off his lowest score of the week, while Schauffele went birdieless on the back nine, carding a 2-over 70 to slip back and to keep the pressure. outside Scheffler.

With round four kicking off in Atlanta, let’s take a look at the top group times. The full set of group times can be found in the live updates below. All Eastern Times
