One more person has died from Covid19, the Ministry of Health said in its daily update on Tuesday, while another 302 have been infected from Sunday to Monday.
The deceased is an elderly man with multiple co-morbidities.
Trinidad and Tobago now has 5,365 active cases.
Since the virus reached TT in March 2020, an estimated 4,162 people have died.
Of these, 3,442 were not fully vaccinated, 312 were fully vaccinated and 390 deaths occurred before May 24, 2021 when vaccination began.
Of all Covid19 patients between July 22, 2021 and August 31, about 16,375 (79.5 percent) were not fully vaccinated; 4,217 (20.5 percent) percent were fully vaccinated.
During the pandemic, 180,310 patients have tested positive, of which 170,783 have recovered.

So far, 823,529 people have been tested, of which 335,516 have been tested in private facilities and 488,013 in public facilities.
Of the TT population, 51.2 percent are already fully vaccinated, or 716,532 people, compared to 683,468 who have received no dose or only a first dose.
Of those people who are fully vaccinated, about 658,466 had the second dose of the two-dose regimen and 58,066 a one-dose regimen. About 695,135 people have had the first of a two-dose regimen. About 168,340 have had a booster dose.
