Police have launched an investigation into a case where two women said to be employees of a popular musician and entertainment executive were assaulted by a 50-year-old businessman in Kingston.
Reports are that the accused allegedly pulled a gun, loaded with a magazine containing 22 rounds, on the women who were said to be brand ambassadors for Romeich Entertainment, while sitting in a van that the businessman claimed was blocking his way.
The incident is reported to have happened on Thursday.
Reports are that the accused was driving a 2014 red Mazda car when he pulled up next to a Hiace motor truck in which the two complainants were sitting.
The accusations are that the businessman asked for the bus to be moved.
Police said they received reports that one of the complainants had told the accused that the driver was missing.
It is reported that the suspect became enraged after his demands were not met.
Reports are that he allegedly drew his permitted gun and pointed it at the two complainants, telling them to move the bus.

The search was carried out and two firearms were found during the search; one on the businessman’s person and the other in his car.
He was then sent to custody where he was charged with assault causing bodily harm and possession of a weapon without a permit.
