In 2021, the percentage of people who felt safe at home (89.5%) was higher than those who felt safe in their neighborhood (72.1%).
This ratio is even lower in relation to the feeling of safety in the city where they lived (54.6%).
The data is from the Continuing National Survey of Household Samples (PNAD) – Safety Sensation 2021, which, in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Public Safety, investigated, for the first time in this Survey, the topic of security sensitivity among residents aged 15 years. and older, to assess people’s opinion on their perceptions of (in)security. . .
