Clarendon police have arrested seven people for questioning in connection with the seizure of an estimated 900 pounds of compressed marijuana during a police/military operation in Clarendon Wednesday morning.
During the operation, three vehicles were seized.
It is reported by the police that at around 05:20, members of the security forces, acting on information, seized the contraband during the control of a gray Toyota Noah car, intercepted along the Bustamante highway.
Two other vehicles were subsequently seized, along with the Toyota Noah, in connection with the drug seizure.
The three motor vehicles and the seven suspects were subsequently taken to the May Pen Police Station for processing.
