Gisila, the soap opera debuted a few weeks ago and Manu lived little pink in the first stage of the plot. How did this invitation come about?
Then. It came through Cintra agency. They sent the script and Manu got through every stage, which was not easy as the character is from the North East and she had to take prosody classes to learn the accent. But she managed to go all the way and finally get approved.
What was your reaction, Manu?
At that time I was going through a very delicate moment. My father, hospitalized. Together with my mother, we received a call from Aunt Aline, from Cintra, who informed us that I had been approved for the role of little pinkem Sertão Sea. I cried with emotion with my mother! I prayed to God to help me realize my dream of being an actress and it happened!
Gisele, what about yours?
The news came as a breath of fresh air. I was very sad about my husband’s situation and when I heard that Manu was chosen, I cried with joy and gratitude to God! Manu is a girl of faith and was starting to realize her biggest dream!
Before the telenovela, Manu developed any other work? If so, which one?
She even participated in several advertising campaigns and films after the universeyes Netflix. Her Insta audience loves her videos with her father. One of them even broke the record of 25 million views.
Manu, what is it like for you to be an actress?
It’s fun! I like to perform (Laughs), make new friends and act. It’s a dream come true! I was very comfortable and had no trouble memorizing the lyrics.
Manu, who is Rosinha?
Rosinha, as my father says in fiction, is a wild animal. (Laughs). Studioin, funny, believes in her dreams and is very proud of her mother, who is a complete embroiderer. She is very attached to Professor Candoca, who is a role model for her.
Gisila, school routine vs. scenarios. How to agree?
It was very peaceful! TV Globo is very responsible for the school timetable issue. Entries are only made in the afternoon, during Manu’s working hours. The team is truly to be congratulated for all the love and care they have shown us.
