Friends of Lord Nelson organized “An Evening of Music with Lord Nelson” held in his honor on 30 July 2022, under the distinguished patronage of the Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley.
Lord Nelson “Nelo” who turned 91 on July 27 delighted the enthusiastic audience with hits such as “Lala Jam Back”, “Disco Daddy”, “King Liar”, “One Family” and “Meh Lover” which marked the end of the concert nice in the evening.
Sharing the stage with calypsonian Robert Nelson “Lord Nelson” were Devon Seales, Oscar B (Oscar Dennis Benjamin), Ronnie McIntosh and the Signal Hill Alumni Choir, with musical accompaniment by the Errol Ince Music Makers Orchestra.
Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds presented a token of appreciation on behalf of the Government and people of Trinidad and Tobago.
The event was made possible by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, NLCB, Caribbean Airlines and Carib Brewery.
