Thoughts and prayers are offered during this time as we fondly remember the precious life of Joycelyn McLeod Smith, who hailed from the Barataria/San Juan constituency. Such was a woman of ferocity, flair and passion. Sharp-witted, lively, tireless, compassionate, measured and meticulous, Moreso captured her essence as a woman in the political, sacred and poetic realms.
Her dedication and commitment to selflessly serving her country is applauded and honored.
