On November 25, Fort Copacabana hosted the 42nd ABRAMMIL (Brazilian Academy of Military Medals) Ceremony, decorating civilian and military dignitaries, in addition to awarding the winners of that edition’s Literary Competition.
This ceremony also marked the closure of the institution’s 2022 Calendar, which is already being prepared for next year, with a new agenda that is more complete than in previous years, when we had the Covid-19 pandemic.
Representatives of the Armed Forces, Public Security Forces from several countries, in addition to Civil Society, received the various Abrammil medals, in their various ranks and designations, in recognition of services rendered to the Brazilian nation.
Among the various institutions present, the Rotary Club of Rio de Janeiro Vésper stood out, represented by its President Neide Benchimol, who is also a member of Abrammil as an academic, in addition to several members of the Board of Directors. We will return with more details in future editions of the column.
Congratulations Abrammil. Let 2023 come now.
