Family Secretary Carmen Ana González Magaz reported on Friday that the Administration for Socio-Economic Development of the Family (ADSEF) will begin the preliminary process for the disbursement of PAN benefits, given the notification issued for Tropical Storm Fiona.

“Our task force has been in communication with the federal government since yesterday to obtain authorization to advance PAN benefits, a proactive measure, so that families who had not received the benefit have the opportunity to complete their storm preparations. . Tropical Fiona”, said the head of the family in written communication.

For his part, ADSEF administrator Alberto Fradera Vázquez explained that “beneficiaries whose social security numbers end in 7 and 8 will see their benefit reflected in the morning, while those ending in 9 will to see it reflected in the afternoon”.

Fradera Vázquez added that “the agency will continue to be attentive to any situation that requires the provision of assistance to communities that may be affected by the passage of tropical storm Fiona.”

González Magaz reported that the disbursement amounted to approximately $72,268,219 and will affect a total of 239,672 families that receive assistance from the agency for the purchase of food and emphasized that this advance is aimed at participants who have not received the benefits corresponding to the month. of September.
