The Bolivian Santa Cruz region, the largest in the country, celebrated this Sunday 16 days of strike so that the population census can take place in 2023 with the warning that the protest will spread to other departments from Monday, while a technical commission works to set the last date of registration.
The road blockade continues in the regional capital and activities were almost nil, unlike on Saturday, when markets opened for several hours for people to stock up. Protests have been announced throughout the region for tomorrow.
