Airports may suffer fuel shortage as a result of pro-Bolsonaro uprising

The Brazilian Airline Association (Abear) has alerted the authorities about the impact on the airline network due to the blockage of roads and highways in different parts of the country.

Airline estimates indicate that if the current scenario continues, the sector may suffer from fuel shortages during the festive season.

Air transport can also be affected by the difficulty of getting professionals, crew members and passengers to airports, making the operation unstable and also affecting essential activities such as free transport of organs for transplants and cargo delivery.
