TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men’s basketball coach Nate Oats will open the doors to Coleman Coliseum for fans to watch an open practice Saturday morning. Doors to the Coliseum will open at 9:30 a.m. CT with practice beginning at approximately 10 a.m. CT.
The 2022-2023 edition of the Crimson Tide will make its first public appearance that day as the team conducts an intrasquad scrimmage.
Tide is in the midst of preparations for its 10-date Overseas Tour in Barcelona, Spain and Paris, France. The Crimson Tid will play one game and spend four days in Barcelona before traveling to Paris for four more days and two more contests.
Under NCAA rules regarding a foreign tournament, Alabama will hold 10 days of practice before leaving Tuscaloosa. The Tide’s journey will begin on August 5 when it leaves Tuscaloosa for Atlanta. The Tide will arrive in Barcelona at 8:55am local time on Saturday morning, August 6.
