TULSA, Okla. – Alabama Men’s Tennis Players Filip Planinsek AND German Samofalov wrapped up action at the ITA All-American Championships on Friday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.

- Planinsek’s final match in the tournament was against the second-ranked freshman in the country, Stanford’s Nishesh Basavareddy.
- Planinsek struggled in the first set, falling to a tie against Basavareddy, 7-6 (5), before losing 6-2 in the final set.
Tide in doubles
- The No. 33 doubles team of Samofalov and Planinsek fell in the Consolation quarterfinal round to No. 15 Ryan Fishback and Jorda Chrysostom of Virginia Tech
- The pair lost the first set 6-3, but came back strong in the second
- Planinsek and Samofalov fell in the tie of the second set 7-5 (7)
