TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – For the 10th consecutive season, Alabama volleyball was honored with the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award, it was announced Monday.
Presented by the United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association, the award honors volleyball teams that maintain a one-year grade point average of at least 3.30. The Crimson Tide has won the award 16 times since its inaugural presentation for the 1992-93 academic year, including a current streak of 10 straight.
Nine Alabama volleyball players earned a spot on the 2021-22 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll with five more appearing on the 2021-22 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.
