IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference announced the 2022 Spring Scholars of the Year Thursday, with Alabama Darcy Jennings as one of three co-honors for the sport of rowing.
Jennings competed with the Crimson Tide’s First Varsity 8+, taking bronze at the Big 12 Championships to help Alabama to a runner-up finish for the third straight season. In the classroom, Jennings earned her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering in the spring of 2021 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Administration. She is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree (2020-22) and was one of the league’s top 40 honorees this season for the Crimson Tide.
