Angolan stock exchange launches financing segment for small companies for their capitalisation

The Angolan Debt and Securities Exchange (Bodiva) today launched a new segment for the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises, called the “SME Segment”, through the issuance of debt or shares, it was announced today.

“The SME marketplace that we are inaugurating today is designed to contribute to reducing what we believe has been the huge financial deficit that SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) face today, fortunately bad,” said Bodiva’s executive director, Odair. Costa.

According to him, through this market, companies will be able to capitalize by issuing debt or equity instruments, commonly known as shares.
