Children and animals always form a combination full of good stories, even more so when it comes to drawing, animation or any form of entertainment for children.
But “As Aventuras de Berê”, with good humor and sensitivity, wants to go further, bringing topics that allow the opening of dialogue between children, parents and children, teachers.
With this proposal, the animated series “Aventuras de Berê” won over not only children, but also the jury of several national and international film festivals.
The episode “Sausage Dog”, which has as its background a story about friendship and acceptance, so important these days, has just been chosen as “best animated film” at the Luleå International Film Festival in Sweden, in addition to being selected for the Festival International Pet Film Festival, South Korea.
Another episode of the series, “Dente Mole”, was also selected for the Kolibri International Festival of Audiovisual Production for Children and Adolescents, in Bolivia – for the Children’s Audiovisual Festival (FICAIJ), in Colombia, for the Animation Film Festival. d’Abidjan (FFAA), from Cote d’Ivoire. Here in Brazil, the same episode was also selected for the Corujinha Festival, aimed at children and teenagers, in Santa Catarina.
The series, which has eight episodes, is available on YouTube and is suitable for children from 3 years old.
It is worth looking at the content that Luli Esteves has in creation, script and general direction and as a screenwriter cartoonist Andrício de Souza, published by Piauí magazine. Brazilian animation producer Castro Animation Studio is responsible for the animation under the art direction of Gabriel Castro. Young Bia Chagas gives the original voice to the protagonist ‘Berê’, which also brings to the team the experienced Bruno Ferian (Barraca do Beijo, Ultra Man, Zoe and Raven…), in addition to Lucia Macedo and Cesar Ortiz. Pedagogical consultancy is by Angelina Fregonesi and casting and production assistance by Lu Chagas.
