Another Large Brawl Erupts on Carnival Cruise Ship

Another out-of-control brawl recently broke out on a Carnival Cruise Line ship. of Miami Herald reported on the large fracture that occurred in Dawn of the Carnival on September 9. Included in the article entitled Mass Brawl Breaks Out on Carnival Cruise Ship. Cellphone cameras caught it all, video surfaced on Twitter.

of Miami Herald explained that “the footage of the bad crash . . . it involved a handful of people punching and beating each other. . . “A handful” of people was estimated to be around thirty. The fight took place between the pool and one of the ship’s many bars.

Fights on Carnival cruise ships are not uncommon, as we have repeatedly reported. The last time a bunch of people started beating each other up was just last June The magic of carnivals. Sixty-sixty passengers were involved in an “all-out brawl” around 5:20 a.m. as the Carnival cruise ship was returning to port in New York after an eight-day Caribbean cruise. As usual, no one was arrested or prosecuted, although multiple cell phones caught dozens of cruise guests in the melee.

The problem arises when the “broader audience” (a term coined by Carnival chairman Micky Arison) finds their way onto cruise ships attracted by low fares. Add a lot of alcohol and very few well-trained security guards on these budget ships, and that’s what happens. Carnival security guards are often seen kicking or punching guests or trying to prevent onlookers from recording the wild behavior.
