Atitude Carioca apresenta finalistas da disputa no Theatro Municipal

The awards on the 10th also have a popular vote category

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Caerj), with the support of the State Department of Culture and Creative Economy, announces the 33 finalists of the 8th Edition of the Atitude Carioca Award (www.atitudecarioca.com. br). One of the most traditional multisectoral awards in the country, Atitude Carioca recognizes actions in favor of the sustainable socio-economic development of the state. The party will feature performances by Orquestra Juvenil Chiquinha Gonzaga and drums from Escola de Samba Grande Rio on September 10, starting at 10 a.m., at the Municipal Theater.

“Atitude Carioca has a tradition of discovering very interesting projects, but until then they had limited visibility. When we shine a light on a positive action, many other actions emerge inspired by the first”, explains Mario Scangarelli, CEO of Caerj.

Among the hundreds of nominees submitted, Caerj’s Board of Eminence selected three finalists for each of the 11 categories. The nominees are companies, institutions, governments, personalities and ordinary people who have created a positive impact on the society of Rio de Janeiro.

“Being able to support an event of this magnitude, even more so at this time of restarting activities throughout the state, highlights the role of the Secretariat of encouraging projects and people working in favor of culture and the creative economy in Rio de Janeiro. “, states the Secretary of State for Culture and Creative Economy, Danielle Barros.
