Cricket West Indies (CWI) has announced a 15-member West Indies Women’s squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa starting on February 11.

“Four senior players who have been out with injuries are back – Stafanie Taylor, Shakera Selman, Chinelle Henry and Chedean Nation.

“We continue on the development path to grow women’s cricket in the region, so we feel the time is right to include three of the rising under-19 stars in the squad.”

Browne-John added that James, Joseph and Holder have made great progress.

“Zaida brings both left-arm batting and orthodox left-arm bowling, both of which the team has lacked in recent times,” said Browne-John.
