Suicide Prevention Month draws attention to physical, mental and emotional health care
With the motto “Life is the best choice”, Yellow September, suicide prevention month, draws attention to the need for each person to take care of their own well-being. According to psychologist Marilene Fernandes, suicidal thoughts occur as a result of psychological problems, so taking care of mental health is a way to protect yourself from self-destructive ideas.
“To have a fulfilling life, emotional health, we need to identify potential problems and prevent them. A survey led by Microsoft says that it takes only 30 minutes for the brain to start feeling fatigue, and often the professional which is in the home office. It works much more than being in the office, not even having time to take care of myself,” reports psychologist Marilene Fernandes.
According to her, a 30-minute meeting sometimes turns into a two-hour meeting, causing increasing anxiety and fatigue, which can generate anxiety and even burnout syndrome, also known as professional burnout syndrome.
“I have worked in the corporate world for many years, and the main pain I observed in the leaders I worked with was the need to share everyday situations that cause stress and anxiety among peers, subordinates and those being led.” , says psychology.
Observing the needs of professionals and seeking to encourage self-care, Marilene has developed a space that, since 2015, unites body and mind care. Through Pachamama Spa, she offers integrative practices of physical and mental health, offering the development and evolution of people and businesses.
“I work with complementary integrative practices that are an alternative way to take care of health, escaping from traditional models that often do not meet the uniqueness of each person. I invite everyone to look within and take care of themselves, enjoy the September of Yellow and keep this attitude, after all, self-care is the first step to prevent psychological problems”, says the specialist.
