In the spirit of the World Cup, Galleria Taideniitty opens the exhibition “The Game of Art, a friendly match (The Game of Art)”, bringing together Brazilian and Finnish artists, with the aim of inspiring and demonstrating the style of each, in the middle of this dispute between cultures, making an analogy between football and art, offering strong emotions and passions. One of the common characteristics of football and art is creativity and with a single objective – to excite those present at this show.

The exhibition organized by AVA Galleria brings together two passions, art and football, with teams made up of different cultures, almost opposite in relation to the globe, in a field where the ball is the creation of every artist and every goal is theirs. the arts. Curated by Edson Cardoso (Team Brazil) and Helena Cardoso (Team Finland), respected in the international art market for the quality of the exhibitions they organize, as well as for the artists they represent, emerging or already known.

Brazil’s selection consists of the visual artists who are ahead: Almir Reis, Ariane Cole, Cristina Bastos, Diana Chagas, Mara Estela, Mario Marques, Raphaela Vasconcellos and Malu Ribeiro (who lives in Portugal), in addition to the Portuguese. Sônia Travassos and Stela Barreto, who join this group to play this big ball that is art. Completing the team, Daniel Azulay, a great Brazilian visual artist, now deceased, but a special ‘player’, due to the cultural legacy he left with his works and his trajectory in Brazilian television, keeping the memories alive of those who lived in the 80s. The show takes place at Galleria Taideniitty, Kissakoskenkatu 6, Varkaus.
