The group will perform in Brazil in December
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of their most successful album, “Camino Palmero”, THE CALLING band will visit Brazil in December on their 2022 Latin America tour.
In these shows she will play this full album for her fans.
The group will perform:
– in Rio de Janeiro on December 4 (Sunday), at Vivo Rio;
– on December 9 (Friday) the show takes place in Brasília, on the Toinha Brasil Show stage.
– The next day, on December 10, they play in Belo Horizonte, at Mister Rock
THE GANG
Co-founded in 1999 by vocalist Alex Band and guitarist Aaron Kamin, The Calling found a place alongside bands that mastered early 21st century rock radio hits like Matchbox Twenty, Train and Fastball.
Kamin and Band, both from Los Angeles, co-founded the group as teenagers (Kamin was dating Band’s sister), and a record deal with RCA soon followed.
With hired backing musicians, they recorded an album and the result was the release of “Camino Palmero” in July 2001.
Although largely influenced by post-grunge rock, the record became a popular release on the strength of “Wherever You Will Go,” a ballad that became a Top Five hit in several countries.

“Camino Palmero” sold over five million copies worldwide, setting the stage for The Calling’s return in June 2004 with album Two.
