The folk dance finals of the Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition presented by the Ministry of Sports and Community Development last Saturday and Sunday in SAPA kicks off as Best Village returns after two years of Covid lockdowns. This event started in 1963 and will celebrate its 60th anniversary next year, showcasing the beauty and talent of Trinidad and Tobago culture in folk dance, theatre, instrumental music, choral singing, village talk and more.
