Bolsonaro and Lula da Silva remain technically tied in Brazil’s São Paulo state

A Genial/Quaest poll published on Thursday (8) shows that current conservative government leader Jair Bolsonaro (PL, right) is technically tied with former socialist president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT, left) in São Paulo state , the power of the country.

São Paulo is the country’s most important state to decide the election, because it alone is home to about 46 million people, about 22% of the entire nation.

The conservative president has 37% of the electoral votes in the state compared to the socialist Lula da Silva with 36%.
