Bow Wow is defending himself from critics after backlash over a $1,000 meet and greet poster that went viral online, with some fans telling him he’s not Chris Brown.

Days earlier, the poster drew ridicule from social media users who blasted Bow Wow for the high-priced package that would see him meet fans, hang out, take photos and even provide collectibles for the fan who paid.

Meet and greets are nothing new to celebrities, but they recently had a resurgence in popularity after fan photos from Chris Brown’s $1,000 meet and greet went viral, with fans sharing their creative photos with their celebrity crushes. . Bow Wow also wanted to monetize the meet and greet, which offers artists much more money than the cost of concert tickets.

Bow Wow is gearing up for the Millennium: Turned Up Tour, where fans will see Keri Hilson, Mario, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Bobby V, Day 26 and more.

Meet and greet tickets will cost between $150 and $1,000 in diamonds, but it was the $1,000 price tag that had social media users poking fun at Bow Wow. The rapper defended the package Monday night on Twitter.
