Notched the game-saving layup for the Tar Heels with 10 seconds left in Saturday’s 27-24 win at Miami with the Hurricanes looking to tie the game or take the lead • Added a sack and four tackles to help UNC advance to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
RUKE – Drake MayeNorth Carolina, QB, Huntersville, NC
Completed 19 of 28 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns in the Tar Heels’ 27-24 road win at Miami • Added 53 rushing yards for 362 total yards on the night • Was voted ACC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season.
The Tar Heels (5-1, 2-0) visit Duke (4-2, 1-1) on Saturday at 8:00 PM on the ACC Network.
