Brazilian wheat production should reach a record 11 million tons in 2022, consultancy Safras & Mercado said on Sept. 21, raising expectations by more than 400,000 tons compared to the previous forecast, according to a statement.
Harvesting is underway in several parts of the country, including the state of Parana, one of the largest national producers.
Brazil has increased wheat planting this season amid good prices and favorable weather. . .
