Brazil’s tourism sector continues to grow, demonstrating its strength in international comparisons.
The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), a recognized authority on world tourism, indicates that Brazil was ranked 11th as the most important tourism sector in the world in 2021 (it was 13th in 2019).
According to the report, Brazil also recorded the highest demand for domestic travel among the countries studied in the same year, surpassing countries such as Australia and Canada.
Airline JetSmart announced new flights to Brazil, connecting the country with cities in Argentina (Buenos Aires) and Chile (Santiago) starting in December.
