The services sector grew 0.9% in September compared to August, according to the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) Monthly Services Survey. It is the 5th positive result in a row. Year to date, growth is 8.6%.
The data were published by the institute this Friday (11.11.2022).
In the last 12 months, the sector recorded a growth of 8.9%, a slight change compared to the month of August, when the rate was 9%. The results show the maintenance of a downward trajectory that started in April 2022, when the accumulation was 12.8%.
