Brazil’s incoming Culture Minister Margareth Menezes said on her Twitter profile on Monday (December 26, 2022) that the portfolio will have a “historic budget” in 2023.
She said that this is the result of “the sensitivity of President Lula, who demonstrated an economic strength in the cultural sector”.
The Ministry of Culture must raise a budget of more than US$10 billion ($1.89 billion) in 2023. . .
