The output of Brazilian automakers in August reached 238,000 units, including passenger cars, light SUVs, trucks and buses, the highest volume in 21 months.
This figure exceeds the total for the same month of 2021 by 43.9%. Compared to July, the increase was 8.7%, according to the balance published on Friday (9) by Anfavea, the association of the vehicle industry.
This is the highest production of vehicles since November 2020, when 238.2 thousand vehicles were assembled in the country.
With this result, the automakers turn the negative sign, marking an increase of 4.7% since the first day of the year. . .
