Brazil set a new monthly record for corn exports by shipping 7.55 million tonnes in August, a volume that surpassed the all-time high of 7.32 million recorded in August 2019, government data showed on Thursday.
The result is still 74% higher than the volume of maize exported in the eighth month of 2021, according to the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex). In addition to abundant supply, Brazil also has an international demand. . .
