Federal tax collections totaled $172.038 billion in November, representing an actual – IPCA-adjusted – increase of 3.25% compared to the same month in 2021. This is the best result for the period since 2013.
In the year to date, between January and November 2022, the collection reached R$2.008 trillion ($285 billion), a natural increase of 8.80% compared to the same period last year.
This was the best tax collection performance since 1995, the start of the historic streak. The data was released Wednesday (December 21) by the Federal Revenue Service.
