Petrobras’ oil and natural gas output fell 6.5% in the third quarter of this year compared to the same period in 2021, while refining saw a 9.4% decrease.
Compared to the second quarter of 2022, the decline was 0.3% and 1.2%, respectively. The data is contained in a report published by Petrobras on Monday, October 24.
According to the state-owned company, the drop in oil and gas production came as a result of a decrease in its weight in the production of the Sepia and Atapu pre-salt fields.
