A man was shot and killed in Santa Cruz Thursday afternoon.
The victim was identified as 33-year-old Mashama Eustace Lara, the nephew of cricket legend Brian Lara.
According to reports, at around 16:20 Lara was ambushed and shot on Mitchell Street, Cantaro Village, Santa Cruz.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations are ongoing.
