Warm thoughts from passengers about their chosen destination
Through the clouds, Barbados begins to appear – one of my favorite sights in the world. The corners of my mouth happily stretch almost to my ears, savoring every moment as the plane slowly descends. I see azure waters, sculpted with white foam, crashing against the golden sand. I see familiar places and think of memories made on my last trip while imagining new ones. It looks like the plane is about to touch the sea, but no, this is a gallery view of smiling sea lions waving enthusiastically welcoming us to their beloved island. I glance at the other passengers, wondering if I’m the only one whose heart is racing.
