Britney Spears and Sir Elton John have confirmed their collaboration on a single.
Last month the two music icons were rumored to be cooking up a storm in the studio, with sources teasing it would be the ‘song of the summer’. Well, it looks like we won’t have to wait long for the subject to bless our ears, as the couple has made the big announcement.
Hold Me Closer will be a remake of Sir Elton’s 1971 classic Tiny Dancer, marking Britney’s return from the end of her 13-year hiatus. The Gimme More creator hasn’t released an official single since 2016’s Slumber Party, the video for which she reunited with now-husband Sam Asghari.
However, fans are more than ready to enjoy something new, especially after the pop queen shared a clip of herself singing a new black version of her debut single, Baby One More Time.
