The Bunker Hill Chamber of Commerce will host a Bunker Hill Fall Fest Sept. 9-10 with carnival rides, a car show, music, craft vendors, a beer garden and fireworks.
Bunker Hill Chamber of CommerceBUNKER HILL – The Bunker Hill Chamber of Commerce will host a Fall Fest Sept. 9-10 with music, rides, food, craft vendors, a car show and fireworks.
The carnival at Illinois 159 and Warren Street opens at 5pm on Friday, September 9 and runs until 9:30pm Tickets at the box office will be 10 for $30 or single-ride tickets for $3.50 each. Each trip requires a ticket. The carnival benefits the Bunker Hill Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bunker Hill Area Ambulance Service. Discounted tickets are available before Friday at Sage House and United Community Bank locations.
Saturday’s events include The Speed Demons Car Club Car Show from 10:00am to 5:00pm with KSHE-95 live broadcasting from 11:00am to 1:00pm and a burnout contest. Other events include a beer garden sponsored by Sage House and Red’s 11am to 11pm Klose Quarters will perform from 1pm and Borderline will perform from 7pm to 11am.
Craft vendors, food and beverage vendors, and children’s activities are also planned for Saturday; Carnival rides will operate from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
