West Indies opener John Campbell faces the possibility of a ban after being charged with an anti-doping offence.

According to the West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA), Campbell had a preliminary hearing yesterday after the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) laid charges against the cricketer.

According to WIPA, a trial date is now set for July 19.

Left-handed batsman Campbell was part of the West Indies team that just beat Bangladesh 2-0 in their Test series.
