(WSYR-TV) – Looking for a bubit good time? Jamesville Beach Park will host the 12th annual Wayne’s Canine Carnival on Saturday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“We are thrilled to announce that the Dog Carnival will be back for 2022,” said Wayne Mahar, who came up with the carnival as a tribute to his mother and has become a hit over the years. “This animal-focused fundraiser is such a treasure for our community. Over the past ten years, we have been able to donate over $380,000 to local animal shelters by raising money through the Dog Carnival!”
The 2022 title sponsor of Wayne’s Canine Carnival is Staffworks, which is the largest privately held staffing services company in the region in Central and South New York. Over $19 million of their funding goes to non-profit organizations for animals and vulnerable people across the region, and to date, they have donated $6.8 million to 57 organizations.
“Staffworks is proud to support this great community event,” said Anita Vitullo, Founder and President of Staffworks. “This event aligns with our mission to help provide direct care and services to at-risk animals in the regional communities where Staffworks operates.”
The fun-filled event will include the following:
- Dancing Dog Demo
- Adoptable pet parade featuring local celebrities
- Dog Training Demo with Flex K9 and Amy Foster
- CountryMax’s free “Pug Shot” photo station.
- Animal rescue cabins from all over New York State
