Caribbean Airlines returns as CPL’s official airline Loop Barbados

The Hero Caribbean Premiere League (CPL) has announced that Caribbean Airlines (CAL) is its official airline partner.

CAL is returning as the official airline of the tournament after a two-year absence.

CAL CEO Garvin Medera said the company is excited to be back in partnership with CPL.

“As the official airline of the 2022 Hero Caribbean Premier League, Caribbean Airlines is delighted to re-unite fans and officials, for the biggest sports celebration in the region. With travel restrictions lifted and the ability to move freely, the excitement around CPL 2022 is immense,” he said.

“Caribbean Airlines understands the value of sport in uniting the region and we look forward to sharing a true Caribbean experience with talented players, enthusiastic fans and all travelers.”

Jamie Stewart, Commercial Director of Hero CPL, said: “It’s fantastic to be moving across the islands again in this 10th year of Hero CPL. Caribbean Airlines is our long-term trusted partner in ensuring the CPL players and crew arrive safely and on time, and we thank them once again for partnering with us.”

CPL Hero 2022 is scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 30.

Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, St Lucia and St Kitts and Nevis will host the competition.
