MIAMI – A million Carnival Cruise Line visitors have now used VeriFLY by Daon, a secure and free travel app that allows vaccinated visitors to easily submit health screening information.
“Helping one million people simplify the process of starting their vacation is a huge milestone to achieve, but it’s no surprise that most of our guests have been using VeriFLY so quickly. They they see the benefit immediately as they save a significant amount of time at the port and get on board faster,” he said Ron DillehayCarnival’s vice president of guest marketing and technology.
Since the app became available across the fleet in March, Carnival became the largest cruise line to implement VeriFLY.

Carnival Brand Ambassador John Heald recently asked guests about their experiences using the app – and thousands of them responded.

We used it for Carnival Valor outside New Orleans IN March 2022. It has worked wonderfully. My family and I will board the Horizon from Miami this Saturday. I have our VeriFLY app ready,’ Michelle Lorsong said.
‘Absolutely loved it! It worked as it should and took the stress out of testing and the vaccine trial. Directed the entire process in Miami for us,’ Laurie Whalen said.
VeriFLY is available at App Store and Google Play. Once guests download the app, they then search Carnival Cruise Line and complete the required steps. They will be asked to submit required documentation, such as vaccination status and COVID-19 test results. When the process is complete, a VeriFLY pass will be issued in the app to be presented at boarding.
