(12:25 p.m. EDT) — Carnival Cruise Line is bringing one of its most beloved family events onboard for the first time since the global health pandemic began.
Beginning October 1, 2022, all ships in the Carnival fleet will once again offer the line’s famous Green Eggs and Bacon Breakfast with the Cat in the Hat and Friends. The family-friendly breakfast, held in the ship’s main dining room once aboard, is one of several exclusive partnerships Carnival has launched with Dr. Seuss Enterprises several years ago as part of its Seuss at Sea program.
Designed to bring to life the famous children’s books of Dr. Seuss, Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast features special appearances and photo opportunities with Dr. Seuss characters. Seuss, along with menu choices that include stacks of fluffy pancakes, French toast, Moose Juice and Goose Juice, and of course, green eggs and bacon.
The event is just one of several Seuss at Sea moments available aboard Carnival ships. These include the ultra-fun Seuss-a-Palooza Story Time, which will resume on November 1 across the fleet, as characters from Dr. Seuss lead children of all ages in a parade through the ships before culminating in the main theater with a reading of the classic tale. Selected ships also include Dr. Seuss Bookville, a family-themed place designed to encourage children to appreciate the magic of reading.
Green Eggs and Ham returns to Carnival ships across the fleet on October 1. The Seuss-a-Palooza story time resumes on November 1, 2022. Both events return in time for the launch of the new Carnival Celebration cruise ship, which will be christened in Miami, Florida in November.
