Alaska’s summer cruise season is coming to an end, and Carnival Cruise Line has begun repositioning its ships as The brilliance of carnivals departs from Seattle en route to Sydney, Australia. The ship will be the first Carnival ship to offer trips Down Under since the relaunch of the cruise.

The brilliance of carnivals is scheduled to remain year-round in Australia until at least June 2024. Future deployments beyond that date have yet to be announced.

The brilliance of carnivals won’t be the only Carnival Cruise Line ship to sail Australian waters in the near future.

The end of Alaska’s carnival season

Carnival’s other two ships sailing to Alaska this summer – part of the cruise line the biggest deployment ever in The Last Frontier – they are The miracle of carnivals AND Spirit of Carnival.

After the cruise ends, the ship will offer an amazing trip to Hawaii before repositioning in Los Angeles to spend the winter offering cruises on the Mexican Riviera and select Hawaii cruises.
Spirit of Carnival there is only one Alaskan cruise left, a 7-night round-trip itinerary from Seattle that will depart on Tuesday, September 13, to close out the season for Carnival Cruise Line. On September 20, the ship will reposition in Miami to spend the winter offering Caribbean itineraries.
