Carnival Cruise Line Prepares for Two Additional Costa Ships

Carnival Cruise Line has announced a new opportunity for interested cruise travelers to stay up-to-date on all things Costa by Carnival with exclusive information about upcoming launches Venice Beach AND Costa Florence in the carnival fleet.

The new website, which requires email sign-up for an exclusive offer when bookings open, will give cruise fans insight into these new ships and how they will offer carnival-style entertainment in an atmosphere of filled with Italian.

Carnival Cruise Line announced in June 2022 both of them Venice Beach AND Costa Florence would be transferred to the Fun Ship fleet, but without losing the overall Italian flair.

Now, the cruise line is offering even more insight and details about the two Vista-class ships and the unique experiences they will offer eager passengers, including confirmation that the ships will be named Carnival.

“Like their carnival sisters, entertainment will be at the heart of Carnival Venezia and Carnival Firenze, but they will also have a unique experience – incorporating the spectacular Italian atmosphere and rich culture they embody.” said Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line.

This is similar to Bright carnivalbefore Costa Luminosawhich has transferred to Carnival Cruise Line and will We welcome guests from Brisbane, Australia in November.

This new registration comes in conjunction with Italian-American Heritage and Culture Month, which is always celebrated in October, and highlights Carnival Cruise Line’s strong relationship with Italy through the construction of its ships, crew members, officers, itineraries and more .

Venice Beach – to be renamed Venice Carnival – will join the fleet in 2023, offering sailings from New York, while Costa Florence – soon Florence Carnival – will sail as a pleasure cruise in 2024 from Long Beach, California.

“We are excited to see these iconic ships make their US debut under the leadership and operation of our sister brand.” said Mario Zanetti, president of Costa Cruises.

The new ships will expand Carnival’s presence in two of its 14 US ports, providing even more options for avid travelers. Carnival began sailing from New York in 1998, while in Long beachthe cruise line receives more visitors than any other operator and has maintained a presence on the West Coast for more than 40 years – first sailing from Los Angeles in 1979.

Both ships are slated for moderate renovations before joining Carnival, which will likely include the addition of several popular Carnival venues to each ship, as well as standard hotel maintenance and refreshments. The overall character of the ships will be preserved, however, with unique Italian touches on each ship.

An exciting upgrade is the new visible color for each ship, which will be a navy blue hull, tied with white and gold in a graceful curve to the waterline.

Carnival Cruise Line’s new red-white-blue stripe of this mirror that debuted with the new flag, Mardi Grasin 2021, and has been rolled out to other ships in the Carnival fleet as various ships undergo planned milestones.

Bright carnivalhowever, took on the red-white-blue carnival colorinstead of a blue-gold color, so it is possible that the color decision will continue Venice Carnival AND Florence Carnival not yet finalized.
