Carnival Cruise Line Reveals Live Entertainment for Their New Ship, Carnival Celebration

Carnival Cruise Line has revealed the new live entertainment that will be featured on their new cruise ship debuting next month from Miami, Carnival Celebration.

Carnival promises never-before-seen Carnival Party entertainment featuring new production shows, aerial acts, game shows and parties and events.

“At home, when the sun goes down, it’s normally time to relax, but not on a Carnival cruise,” said Chris Nelson, vice president of entertainment for Carnival Cruise Line. “We wanted to give our friends new reasons to celebrate nights at sea with us at Carnival Party and have created a collection of new shows and other types of entertainment where exciting aerialists, the latest technology and world-class talent next will amaze ours. guests every evening.”

In addition to Family Feud Live, Deal or No Deal and Love and Marriage game shows, there will also be What’s Age Got to Do With It, Cash Bash and Guess that Grove.

Highlights from the new Playlist Productions and Center Stage offerings include:

The grandest circus – A story celebrating self-discovery and acceptance will unfold in reimagined popular hits as a grand circus comes to life. Taking the talent to new heights – literally – wire-mounted performers will showcase their skills leaving the stage behind to soar above and beyond the audience, creating action in every direction.

Guests will adventure through a fully immersive theatrical circus experience, as the most extravagant air show in the fleet utilizes all of the ship’s high-flying capabilities to the fullest, with glamorous trapeze, chairs, chandeliers, hoops, ladders and mirror air shows .

Color my world – An Indie Rock and Pop love story – romance will be in the air as a popular artist and his sidekick go on a journey of love through art and color. The artistic love story will mix fun dance styles like street jazz, hip-hop, musical theater and ballet with the best songs from the indie rock and pop genres.

Combining different art mediums to create a visually engaging experience, this vibrant and colorful show will feature live painting on stage with matching music and choreography.

Visual Symphony (starting in December) – as the name suggests, this innovative show will use Celebration Central’s 16 massive movable LED screens, lasers and classic rock music to create a high-tech visual masterpiece. Pushing the boundaries of theatrical performances, the show will take full advantage of the latest technology and special effects in the three-story venue space. As the content of the LED walls is synchronized with the choreographic lighting designs, the elevated multimedia experience will deliver an outstanding live performance.

Rio Carnival (starting in May) – Soon, this lively, high-energy Brazilian extravaganza will have guests moving their hips in a parade and celebration of music and dance as the cast performs authentic samba, bossa nova, marchinha, batudada, forro, carimbo and capoeira for some of the most famous Latin pop songs of all time in Portuguese and English.

In addition to Color My World, Playlist Productions will present the mesmerizing Celestial Strings and Cuban-meets-Latin Amor Cubano, as well as Center Stage’s festival-inspired show We Are One.

Carnival Celebration will sail from the Cruise Capital of the World, PortMiami, beginning next month offering weekly Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.
