MIAMI, February 18, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Carnival Cruise Line confirmed that it will participate in the updated US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) program for cruise ships operating in US waters, and is advising guests of the changes the following:
- Effective with departing cruises March 1, masks on board will be recommended but not required. However, there may be certain places and events where masks will be required.
- Carnival will continue to meet the standard of vaccinated cruises, but children under the age of five will not be included in any calculation of vaccinated guests and thus will not be required to obtain an exemption to sail.
