Fashion imprint Theophillio presents its latest collection designed for Spring/Summer 2023 on the New York Fashion Week runways. The latest capsule takes inspiration from Edwin Thompson’s Jamaican heritage and the famous carnival themes of black culture. It also pays homage to retro design elements that are true to ’70s style — this can be seen through feathered headpieces, flared leg silhouettes, quilted details and Apple Jack hats.
The rest of the collection includes embellished blouses, bedazzled dresses and leather options. The color palette includes bright shades of yellow, green, white, brown, purple and denim as well. Notably, the capsule consists of additional branding accents such as a prominent detail including the “I Love TP” emblem in various colors.
